Airport Hotels are not often sexy or hotels that your excited to stay in. Airport Hotels are like plastic water bottles - they are functional - they serve a purpose but you never get all fluttery inside when thinking about them.The Holiday Inn Prague is exactly what an airport hotel should be. It’s the Lego model - exactly what is shown on the box. This hotel was very good. The rooms exceptionally clean, well furnished and served a purpose. Meal was good and they have a shuttle. The only issue with the hotel and hence not a 5 out of 5 rating is the staff. There was not a smile or any show of happiness to be shown from any of them. It was almost like every team member was auditioning for Czechs version of Next Top Undertaker. It was how I expect service in the future to be when robots are doing humans jobs - I almost expected to see them plugged into a wall charging up between shifts. The customer service specialists at IHG need to pop over to this hotel and have a meeting with the team and explain that while they may not be working in a sexy hotel dealing with celebrities and sports stars - they need to remember that their job is service, that’s what they accepted when they joined the team so they should smile and show some warmth to their customers.

In transit to Krakow. Had a stopover at the Prague International airport and booked a room at the airport Holiday Inn. I debated taking a 30 minute $25 USD taxi ride to have a nice dinner in the Prague city center or stay at the Holiday Inn and have a "decent" but uneventful airport restaurant meal. Ultimately, convenience prevailed and I decided to dine at the Holiday Inn, fully expecting this was a hamburger and fries meal. Was seated by the friendly server Katerina, but was surprised by the menu. This was not standard airport food. I ordered the duck pate and Greek salad. I also ordered the peppercorn top sirloin. I asked Katerina if she was familar with the wine list. She told me that she selected the wines on the menu! She guided me to a wonderful local Czech red wine. The steak and wine were delicious. Today was a splurge day, so of course, I had to have french fries. They were the best french fries ever. I reflected and realized that I had avoided an hour's taxi travel to get into and out of the city to dine at a wonderful restaurant. Instead I opted to stay at the Holiday Inn airport hotel--fully expecting a mediocre meal. Instead I was surprised that the meal at the Holiday Inn was superb, and was everything that I would have hoped for in a great Prague city center restaurant. Great dining experience and saved time and money! What's not to like.

10 minute walk from the airport in a great location. Regularly use here or the Marriott Courtyard which is right in the airport. For an airport hotel it is excellent and half the price of the Marriott. Staff, rooms and breakfast are all great. Hotel is very modern with parking facilities

I booked this hotel due to its location and also its listed facilities which sadly were, in my opinion falsely advertised and disappointing. The acceptable first. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and honest, unlike their website!. The rooms are ok with a comfortable bed and reasonable working area and relaxing sofa, but the lack of any UK based TV was unfortunate despite I suspect many UK based citizens using the hotel and the abundance of channels from other main countries and languages. The menu in the restaurant is OK and there was a reasonable choice for vegetarians and pescatarians. My biggest disappointment is the supposed gym!!! a scotts frame, a weight bench, one EZ bar and 4 weights plates is NOT a gym it is a joke and frankly to list having a gym on your website whilst technically correct I think is a false advertising!!. There is not even a treadmill. The staff let me know this on check in and were openly embarrassed by this overstatement Either improve the gym or don't list you have one :-( I wont be staying here again I am sorry to say, but thank you to the staff there who did the best job they could

I booked Holiday Inn as I wanted to be close to airport for an early morning fight and as it advertises “free airport shuttle”. Upon check-in I noticed the sign which indicates the shuttle is €3 per person. Not a big deal. When I asked to book the shuttle I was told it was not in service and guests needed to take the local public bus to the airport. The desk advised due to location Uber will not pick up for the short trip. While the bus worked fine, I feel mislead into making my booking. Had I known there was no shuttle I would have booked at the Courtyard. But for the lack of shuttle I would rate as 5 star.
